Rescheduled and Cancelled Events
Firstly we would like to say a special thank you for your co-operation and support over these past few months while we were temporarily closed. Our Cinema Support Office is once again open but as you can imagine we have a huge amount of rescheduled and cancelled events that our team are now working their way through. We will make every effort to make contact with you so please bear with us.
If you provided your email address when booking then please keep a look out for an email from us that will explain the options available. In many cases the event has been rescheduled so your tickets can simply be transferred to the new date. The full list of rescheduled and cancelled events can be found here
If you don’t receive an email from us or purchased your tickets in person at the cinema or theatre then please email firstname.lastname@example.org where someone can advise on how best to proceed.

PHOENIX FALMOUTH, SAVOY PENZANCE, NEW CARLTON OKEHAMPTON & MERLIN THURSO TO REOPEN
We couldn't be more excited that the highly-anticipated Tenet looks firmly set to hit the big screen on Wednesday 26th August with Disney's The New Mutants following closely with Bank Holiday Weekend previews.
With that in mind, and following our successful and safe reopening of Regal Redruth's Screen 7, we have decided to open the Phoenix Falmouth, Savoy Penzance, New Carlton Okehampton, and the rest of the Regal Redruth complex on 26th August. The Merlin Thurso will open its doors two days later on Friday 28th August.
Once open, we will closely monitor business levels and hope to open more cinemas throughout September. Watch this space!
From Friday 14th August, the Savoy Bar & Restaurant will reopen before the cinema so you can take advantage of the government's Eat Out To Help Out scheme and enjoy up to £10 off your food and soft drinks per person every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in August. More information is available on the site.
Our Cinema Support Office will reopen part-time from Monday 17th August where we will begin to contact customers in regards to any outstanding transfers, vouchers, or refunds of Event Cinema and Theatre Shows. Thank you for the incredible patience you have shown so far and please bear with us while we work our way through the events in chronological order.

REGAL BAR & RESTAURANT AND SCREEN 7 TO REOPEN
We have begun the gradual reopening of our cinemas in accordance with government guidelines. We're starting with just the one site for now, Regal Redruth, which will reopen its Bar & Restaurant and Screen 7 from 10am this Friday 10th July.
We hope to open more sites in the coming weeks and will update you when we do.
The Cinema Support Office remains closed and the Regal's Bar & Restaurant will not be able to deal with refunds. We hope to open the Cinema Support Office in the coming weeks who will start to process these.

REOPENING LATE JULY
The return to cinema is happening!
As you have no doubt heard, the government announced this week that cinemas are able to reopen throughout July. Although Merlin Cinemas will not be aiming for early July, we hope to start reopening later in the month, in accordance with government guidelines, to ensure our staff are protected and our customers have a safe and enjoyable visit.
We hope to share our plans with you in the coming weeks.

Since the announcement of our temporary closure, our team has been working hard behind the scenes with distributors and promotors to navigate and revise our schedule for Event Cinema and Live Theatre shows.

The safety of our staff is of the upmost importance to us so sadly, due to the recent developments, we have decided to close our Cinema Support Office with immediate effect.
Please don't worry as all refunds will be honoured and we will process them as soon as possible once we re-open.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Customer Update
We would like to start by saying a huge thank you to the wonderful Merlin team. Their support and professionalism in what has been a very tough week for us all is much appreciated. They are a real testament to the company.
With the cancellation of many Event Cinema and Theatre shows over the next few weeks we will be keeping our Cinema Support Office open from 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday until further notice. Customers can opt for a guest pass voucher that can be used for any event once we re-open or alternatively a full refund will be given. If an event has been moved to a new date, the customer can keep their original seats and tickets for that date if they so wish. To organise a voucher or refund please call 01209 315161 where we will do our best to answer your call during this busy period.
If you don’t manage to get through, please don't worry as all refunds will be honoured and we will process them as soon as possible once we re-open.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Please Read
At Merlin Cinemas we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers. With this in mind and following government guidelines we have made the difficult decision to shut our cinemas as of the close of business today, Tuesday 17th March, until further notice. We would like to thank all of our customers and staff for their support recently in these very difficult times.
We plan to have an urgent management meeting tomorrow and will aim to provide a full update within 48 hours. This will include details regarding advance cinema and theatre bookings.
